Bendsneyder not into Q2: P21

Bendsneyder, after an intense qualifying battle, will start from twenty-first position on the Japanese track. The Dutch rider came within eighteen thousandths of a second of advancing to Q2, showing maximum effort lap after lap. Despite the obstacles on his way to the grid, Bendsneyder maintains a positive attitude and is determined to overcome these challenges in tomorrow’s race.

Bo Bendsneyder #64 (P21)
“Today we improved the feeling with the bike, we improved the lap time, but unfortunately it’s not enough and it’s something that bothers me because we are working super hard. During the morning we missed out on the direct pass by less than a tenth unfortunately, which meant we had to start from Q1. We had to get through Q1, but it wasn’t possible to get there. I tried to do my best, I thought I had a perfect lap by myself but it wasn’t enough. Tomorrow we start from the back but I’m still confident with the feeling I have to have a good race. We keep working, keep our head down and focus on tomorrow’s race.”
